- Flew to Austin next to ELITHECOMPUTERGUY
- Used Austin’s car2go service and had my first smart car experience. Umm. They don’t really brake or accelerate well — and imagine me and my luggage inside of this thing.
- Checked into my overpriced hotel and received a goody bag with gatorades and waters and granola bars 👌🏼👌🏼
- Picked up my badge at an almost empty convention center (also stopped by Mazda and Esurance to attempt to win things)
- Wandered around Austin and stumbled upon some people from D.C. that flew in with me. Chatted with them and ate some delicious chicken chili @ the JW Marriot restaurant.
- Continued exploring Austin. Stopped by Clive Bar before heading to the #casamexico party. Met an interesting physicist there — we chatted about the future of smart cities.
- Ended up finishing my night at a place close to my hotel called Rustic Tap. Seemed pretty local.
Excited to be in bed by 9:45 reading my guides and planing out tomorrow.
